Loxias

Loxias is one of the many epithets of the Greek god Apollo. It’s connected to legein λέγειν meaning “to say, speak” though it’s also been linked to loxos λοξός meaning “ambiguous, indirect”, which derives from his role as the god of prophecy.

Nicknames: Lox

Origin: Proto-Indo-European
