Cletus

Cletus is an English male name, a shortened form of Anacletus, the Latinized form of Ancient Greek Anakletos meaning “invoked”. Cletus could also be used as an anglicized form of Kleitos, an Ancient Greek male name meaning “renowned, famous”, derived from the same root word as Clio. In Greek mythology, Kleitos is the name of several figures in Greek mythology.
