Briallen

Briallen is a modern Welsh female name meaning “primrose”, the singular form of briallu (primroses).  In Welsh, the double ll is pronounced like a sh sound (called a voiceless alveolar lateral fricative), although in English it would very definitely be pronounced as it looks like. I found an excellent video that shows how the double ll can be pronounced in Welsh (link down below).
